Donald is an experienced multi–lingual non-executive and executive director with a global track record in distressed / rapid growth situations in public, private, and listed environments. His international business expertise covers 30 years in the manufacturing and service sectors, having lived in, and managed businesses in UK, USA, Canada, France, Netherlands and emerging markets.

Sectors expertise includes retail, telecom, technology, health, property, construction, oil and gas, power generation, banking, leisure, and public sectors. Permanent roles include CEO Telspec plc , CFO BT Retail, Cable & Wireless (Global), and Alcatel Alsthom (Canada) , Since 2004 Donald has operated mainly independently, implementing major restructuring programmes including Northern Rock, NHS, Police, RAF , Royal Mail ,Travelex and Murray International – owner of multiple businesses including Rangers FC. He has served on multiple listed and private company Boards, in UK and overseas, as Chairman or NED, often with Private Equity involvement.

He is focused on the mid- market and large corporate areas in the Retail, Leisure, Health, Property and Telecom sectors, as well as, organisations with major exposure to the Public Sector.
